REQUEST FOR HELP IN FINDING THE NEXT OF KIN OF DECEASED DIVERS

THIS IS AN URGENT REQUEST FOR AID IN FINDING THE WIDOWS AND FAMILIES WHO ARE COVERED BY THE COMPENSATION PACKAGE OFFERED BY THE NORWEGIAN GOVERNMENT
The time limit for compensation application is quickly running out therefore we are trying everything we can think of to find the widows and families.
The “Official” list of fatal diving accidents can be found at:
Dødsulykker under dykking i Nordsjøen 1965–1990 – norsk sector
Fatal diving accidents in the North Sea 1965-1990 – Norwegian Sector

The “Official” list of fatal diving accidents in all sectors can be found at:

Dødsulykker under dykking i Nordsjøen 1965–1990
Fatal diving accidents in the North Sea 1965-1990

If you know any of the families we would appreciate it if you would contact them and let them know that they are eligible for the compensation. They can then either deal directly through the system or if they would prefer we can guide them through the application process.

The process is very complicated, minor mistakes in the application cause major delays, therefore we believe that it would be better to let us help.
If you don’t know the families, we would very much appreciate it if you could spread the word as widely as possible. Networking with any of your contacts could be the key to finding and helping out these families.
Please use the utmost in discretion and tact.
The grief is still very real to those who are directly involved.
We do not want to cause any problems of any sort.
